Getting Here

All guests will arrive at Male’ International Airport, located on a separate island just off the capital Male’. You will be welcomed by an airport representative after immigration and customs formalities and proceed to the seaplane terminal for the onward journey by Trans Maldivian Airways. The 15-passenger, De Havilland Twin Otter seaplane will take you on a 45-minutes scenic flight to the resort. For more information on seaplane, including transfer time restrictions, baggage allowance and terms and conditions of the carrier please see below.

Alternatively, you can take a 20-minute domestic flight to Dharavandhoo, followed by a 40-minute speedboat ride to the island.

SEAPLANE

A scenic 45-minute direct flight to the resort. Arrival transfers are guaranteed for international flights landing not later than 15:00hrs and passengers should be present at the Trans Maldivian Airways counter latest by 16:00hrs.

Departure transfers can only be arranged for international flights departing Male’ Airport after 09:00hrs.The request for a seaplane transfer has to be confirmed to Reethi Faru at least 4 days prior to the guest’s arrival to guarantee the flight arrangements.Dedicated airport representatives will receive you upon reaching Male' International Airport, They will carry a sign with the resort name for identification – Reethi Faru Resort. They will assist you at the Trans Maldivian Airways counter with your seaplane transfers. Please refer to additional information below.

• Guests are requested to proceed to the check-In counters of Trans Maldivian Airways (TMA). The counters are located opposite of the exit gates and clearly visible in the white and red color logo.
• Please present your passports at the check in counter to receive your tickets/boarding passes.
• Seaplane transfers are operated by Trans Maldivian Airways (TMA) to Reethi Faru Resort. The flight time is approximately 45 minutes.
• Kindly take note that the luggage allowance for flights by domestic carrier is 25kg for checked-in luggage and 5kg for carry-on luggage regardless of allowances granted by the international airline.

Flight timings are based on arrival and departure of international flights. Due to delays of international flights, adverse weather conditions and arrangements of combined flights of several resorts, the waiting time may vary.

Due to circumstances beyond the control of the Transfers Provider and/or Reethi Faru Resort, such as unfavorable weather conditions, international flight delays, etc. transfers may be cancelled, preponed, postponed and /or changed to the alternative transfer available in which case neither the resort nor the transfer provider will be liable for any related expenses incurred by the guests. Please rest assured that the resort will prioritize the safety and security of the guests on their travel to and from the island at all times.
